The hotel is ideal for groups of friends traveling together for 4 nights, including over the Christmas and Boxing Day holidays in Queenstown, between the two apartments. The location is perfect for those who don't want to be right in town and like to walk, offering modern and comfortable accommodation, though it can be tricky if you have a larger car due to the steep hill. The staff's service was satisfactory, except for a minor inconvenience due to a power outage during the check-in process. The dining experience was enjoyable on a few evenings, overlooking the lake. Overall, the hotel offers good value for the money.
I had an amazing stay at the hotel over the Christmas and Boxing Day holidays. The room was fantastic with a full kitchen, 2 baths, a living room with a cozy gas fireplace, and the most stunning view. The heated bathroom floor was a win-win, making my 4-night stay incredibly comfortable.
Highview offers excellent amenities, a comfortable bed, and cozy heating throughout the apartment. The view may not be stunning, but it's a great choice for families with kids having their own space at the apartment. The fireplace adds a nice touch, though it was a bit chilly upon arrival.
My stay at the hotel was a mix of positives and negatives. The rooms were clean, spacious, and offered breathtaking views of the lake, which was fantastic. However, the lack of room servicing during my stay, especially given the nightly rate, was disappointing. Some rooms had stunning lake views as advertised, while others faced a less appealing view of the carpark, so be sure to clarify your booking preferences. The large doors in the rooms were a nice touch, but they seemed to draw in smoke from neighboring rooms, which was unpleasant.

The staff were excellent and always available to assist, making our stay hassle-free. The location offers beautiful views and easy access to Queenstown, although the uphill walk back can be a bit tiring. The dining with a view of the lake was delightful, but there weren't many options. The facilities were well-maintained, and the value for the price paid was reasonable.
